Tractor-trailer stolen in Cumberland County

A tractor-trailer stolen from a construction site in Pine Grove Furnace State Park was found crashed into a bank along Route 233 at the border of Cumberland and Adams counties, state police said.

Police said the 2002 Peterbilt tractor-trailor was found just before 8 a.m. Sunday, about six miles from Laurel Lake, where it had been stolen.

In addition, a driver's side window was broken on a 1988 Mack dump truck at the construction site, police said.

Anyone with information on the theft or vandalism to the dump truck is asked to call state police at 717-249-2121.
