I-75 Closed Near Windy Hill

All northbound lanes of I-75 and two southbound lanes are closed near Windy Hill Road due to an overturned tractor trailer.

The Georgia Department of Transportation estimates that cleanup will take at least two hours.

Traffic is backed up for several miles, according to the DOT’s Georgia Navigator Web site. There are also delays on the topend Perimeter.

Motorists are urged to avoid this area until further notice, according to the DOT.

Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash, officials said.
