IdleAire awash in red ink

Truck stop services company IdleAire came out Thursday, April 5, with its 2006 financial report, and there’s a lot more red ink than black on the page.

The Knoxville, TN-based company reports it had $14 million in revenues last year, but claimed $60 million in losses – about double its losses from the previous year.

In a press release, IdleAire officials said the losses were mainly caused by the increasing number of facilities that are being built around the country.
